THAWING:
ALL FROZEN SALMON SHOULD BE THAWED IN THE REFRIGERATOR AND NEVER IN COLD WATER OR AT ROOM TEMPERATURE TO PREVENT DRYING OUT.
To ensure highest quality all our fish are flash frozen and should be thawed as slowly as possible.
THAW TIMES IN REFRIGERATOR:
All freshly frozen products: 24 hours
Smoked salmon: 24 hours or 2 hours on the counter. (Smoked can be thawed on counter because it is not a raw product.)
Dressed: 2 days on top shelf of refrigerator
Ikura: 24 hours
Wings/Heads/Carcasses: 24 hours
SHELF LIFE

STORAGE
2 to 3 days in refrigerator before cooking including marinating time. Once cooked, eat within 5 days.
FRESHLY FROZEN
Store in vacuum-pouch when thawing.
Wrap in paper towel or loosely in a plastic bag. If kept in vacuum pouch, fish will become slimy over time.
SMOKED
1 to 2 weeks in refrigerator. After one week, smoked salmon will start to dry out but is still good to eat.
2 to 3 days in refrigerator.

Store in container.
